Saw these in the Dec 99 issue of "Canadian Classics". Perhaps a member may have taken one of these shots. The first is of a 68 427 4 speed 2+2 convertible. Could it get any better than this? No location given:
Here is a pic of a 69 2+2 with the 427/4speed. Can someone chime in as to whether this is the same car seen in other musclecar mags and online?? That photo shows it next to some sort of a silo where in this photo it looks like an Impala is parked behind it:
Finally an engine shot of a 427 found in a '69 Grand Parisienne..
Anyone else have any similar photos to share? Todd
The top one is one of two built sold new to a Machine Shop owner in Windsor,Verdoro Green The second is the most Famous 2+2 of All,as you guessed. The last is the car I posted the tag from yesterday.
Did you see the Pontiac stuff, at Roblins Garage, in Demorestville On.? Here's picture of 66 Strato Chief 2 door - with chrome around windows.. They have Beaumonts, Ventura,s full size.. check it out.. they have photos of all.. Claim to plan on crushing, eveything in April!
About 15 years ago a guy near me bought a 68 convertible with a 427. I am not sure which model it was but I remember the 427 emblems on the front fenders. The car was pretty rough. He bought it for the motor and put it in a Model A sedan. I thought at the time it was a real shame but I guess it happened to a lot of them.
In 2004, I bought this Firebird out of a field. It's an original, numbers matching Super Duty 455, one of 92 made for Canada. Yes, it came with the original engine and trans. It was quite a find. I know it's not a "unique" Canadian Pontiac, but thought it's close enough to be of interest to some here.
I sold the car last fall. My heart just wasn't in it. I would like to get back into a full size Canadian big block Pontiac.
Pretty good bragging rights having one-of-92 on the document.

Sorry! My reference was, to the comment about the 455 SD.. you said, you wanted to get back into Big Pontiac.. and my question was- auto or 4 speed? You know, before I pull the driveshaft tomorrow..
and you'r sitting in front of computer, waiting for me, to remove the driveshaft you slave driver!! How about a Strato Chief with a grande pariesienne motor? 4 speed
Yeah, sure, right after I re-do my 65 Acadian, then the 67 Nova SS that's sitting right beside it, AND another job I'm working on for someone else............
I see that you have your priority straight. That is what I like to hear.
THEY also have the 66 Strato Chief 2 door AND 67 Beaumont HT AND 67 Pariesienne HT AND Blk 66 Bel Air 2 door AND 68 Chevelle HT AND 68 Impala HT and 72&73 Ventura 2 doors....
This is interesting stuff to see these rare 427 cars. Re. the 69s, if you add up the gold 427 4 spd 2+2 that recently sold in Ontario, the green car shown here, the white car in London and the blue?? (I think) car that Morley Brown owns (or owned - or is the green car shown here Morley's?), that accounts for 4 of the 10. Does anyone know of the others?
if anyones interested there is a 68 or 69 2+2 convertible in jacksons auto wreckers in kendal,my friend has the cowl tag off it,its whie but not the original colour
