I always wanted to do a 67 El Camino SD 396 to see how many would second guess it-actually gathered parts for a while then gave it up, might start again ! shhh !!!
Cool wagon, very rare car.For once a chevelle converted to a beaumont, usually the other way around.Anyone else got pics of the 64/65beaumont wagon,or any other years.
one of the first things i notice when i was in the shop. guess its already been done :( oh i was at showcars in toronto that fiberglass guy and picked-up the glass and regulators for my doors plus i ordered a 3 1/2 cowl hood scoop for my glass front end. getting closer
you know i go 40 years and only see 2 beaumont wagons now they are coming out of the wood work. i can't believe there is 2 acadian wagons both black so close together. will andy have it out this year or is it still for sale. after seeing the 65 without the trim i will be deffinately putting my trim back on.
Hey Fred: here is the link for showcars ref. our conversation of your buddy looking for the mechanism for the rear window to roll up and down for the 65 acadian wagon. when i bought my tailgate from showcars last year i took out the mechanism, and while i was there yesterday getting window glass and my new hood scoop i did see that the mechanism was still there on a shelf.
