There's a autowrecker in Ontario called Roblins that is going to crush all their cars this spring. looking through their website I noticed they have a few Beaumonts. I'm from Alberta so I doubt if I would make it out there in time but if anyone is interested here's their website www.roblins.net I see a couple of 67's , two 68's and one 69 there. looks like a lot of good parts left on them.
They only have a four door beaumont. THe other was change from a chevelle to a beaumont. Today got e-mail from Roblins thats what they told me. the four door $ 250. or so
Still for 150 to 250 per car, there is a lot of trim and interior pieces a guy could rob off them and still leave the car, grills, tail lights, ect... are getting hard to find.
i emailed and asked about the 58 gmc school bus. i was thinking making a camper to match my 55 gmc 1/2 ton, they replied not for sale being used for storage. oh well at least one more project my wife will be happy i didn't drag home.
I have been hearing about that yard on the net for the last 5 years or so.....And that its about to close........I think it's all a sales ploy..........
you may be right I always thought of buying it,to restore, but am afraid of rusty fenders, floors, sills, quarters. if it was a chevy ,I can get all parts, but where do I get Pontiac sheetmetal? BUT the second picture, reminds me to buy it, for the hood, hinges, bumpers, upper door frames, bits and pieces of trim trunk etc.. probably worth my time to go there with trailer...bring it home, and strip it, or fix it...maybe make a rat rod, with BIG motor...
