A friend of mine has a rare car. It's a 65 Acadian wagon. He decided to modify it a bit, and make it a 2 door. You have likely heard of lots of guys who do this using a 2 door sedan door, and moving the pillar back. He used a different approach. He used a hardtop door, which is not as tall. To do this, he had to chop the roof roughly 2 inches. Kind of like a Nomad Acadian.

He is going to paint on the "chrome" because he will likely never find the side trim for it. I think I've seen all of one other wagon for 65.
I have a little bit of spare stuff that I can help him out with like the piece on the front of the hood in the middle. It has the "A" for Acadian on it.
It sure looks neat with the chop. Most people may not even realize it, but anyone like yourself who knows wagons will see it right away.
I agree, with the windows down that will look very cool.
