I forgot about it until I saw it in the "Events" section in Old Autos this morning. Already had other plans made. There's another one there later in April. I'll be there-maybe it will be warmer!
Next weekend is the RM Auction in Toronto. Anyone going to that?

The London Auto Expo was so-so. Forgot my camera so I can't share.

I was vending there today. Quite a few people considering the cool day. I didn't find any parts but it is still worth the time to go and look. The next swap meet is April 27th. I'll be vending at that one too.

Yeah. Didn't have many Beaumont parts there today. I'll have different parts for next month. There were a few people looking for different things that I didn't bring.

I guess this would be a good indication of the need for a window sticker or 6. One for each vehicle. Maybe I'll print a Canadian Poncho flyer for the next swap meet and tape it to the table so I can say hi next time.

That 57 wagon looks like an Americian built car with the long front end but I would have to see it up close or with the hood open to be 100% positive.  Al

Check out my post:

I think the wagon is Canadian, I am basing this on the distance between the front wheel well opening to the door. Looks more like the Laurentian than the Star Chief in my post. Of course the only real way as you say Al is to see it.

I didn't know there was one. That is the same day as Vaughan and Woodstock but I will be in Orlando so I guess I will miss them all.

Might be an idea to have a place to post these swaps and shows, I'd be interested in dates & locations especially Vaughan which is an easy drive for me.

That green 57 Laurentian looks like a gorgeous car. Was it an all original car or a restored to original car ? Have you got more pictures of it ? My in laws used to live in Port McNichol and I was never lucky enough to see that 57 when i was in the area.

I would also like to see an area where swap meets are posted, this would make things easier for the people living in the far north to plan our trips to the south.   Al

Al, that is the only photo I have right now of the Laurentian. It is really nice both in and out. He has been bringing it to the Sunday memory lane Cruisers in Midland/Pentang for as long as I can remember. I thnk it was probably restored many years ago. I will ask him and get more photos once we start cottaging again this year....if the snow ever melts! smile

The site has a calendar function that any member can go into and add shows etc. It's at the top of the screen. I added the RM auction this weekend. If you guys know of a show or swap meet, simply add it to the calendar.
