It sold our Strato-Chief when it was new and it would be Very nice to have Hogan Pontiac sticker to the back of the car again, because it painted over at mid-80's

It moved and became a Chev/Olds dealer in the mid 80's. It is still in operation today in Scarborough. Peter Burdon Pontiac took over at the old building until the late 80's moving to the rebuilt truck facilities on Broadview. Sadly they are no longer in business.
I still remember the 86 1/2 Grand Prix 2+2 they took the bubble rear window off that sat in front of the showroom for a very long time.

There is a HOGAN CHEV at HoganChev.com Maybe Todd knows the service manager there and could get a decal..
We bought at least 9 Pontiacs and Buicks there and my wife's cousin was a salesmen there and her father bought several Buicks there. Heck I bought my Monte Carlo SS there once they switched to Chev Olds and moved to Scarborough.
I can still see the decals, a Red rectangle with the word HOGAN in white script. I wrote into my deal that they would not instal the decal on my Monte Carlo SS and they didn't !

My Dad bought our 60 Laurentian 4 door sedan there - turquoise with a white top. Maybe I can find an old picture of it that might show the dealer decal but from memory it was pretty well much like 73SC described. We used to shop at a delicatessen that was located across the street. I always used that as an excuse to pop over to Hogan's and look at the new cars. I have many fond childhood memories of that place.

I knew that there used to be a car dealership at 348 Danforth Avenue, the place where I often buy groceries. Since about 1978 it has been the site of The Big Carrot, a specialty grocery store where they handle organics, or they simply carry socially concience goods. I see tie-dyed activists there. I've seen Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo in there as well as Dave Duvall the retired CFTO weather guy.
That is about 2 blocks from where distinguished late member Hillar Pinna's (Astro Jet) funeral was held in 2010.

The Big Carrot is indeed one of the stores in the Carrot Common, the former Hogan Pontiac Buick GMC dealership. In the late 60's they also acquired a facility north on Broadview just past Mortimer Avenue and that was the the Service and Body Shop and Used Car lot. They kept a few service bays on the Danforth for PDI and Showroom prep.
Hillar's funeral was handled by Murray Newbigging at 733 Mt. Pleasant Road and the service was held at the Saint Peter Estonian Church at 817 Mt. Pleasant Road, these are some 5 miles away from the New Car Dealership. A Reception following the funeral was held at the Estonian House, a cultural centre, at 958 Broadview Avenue which was very close to Hogan Service, Body Shop and Used Car lot which was at 1099 Broadview.
