heater core

Im replacing my heater core in my 66 beaumont, the ones that I have got from the supplier are not the same size, they are the same thickness and hight but the length seems to be 1.5 in shorter, Ive tried two different companies and they send the same one. is the reason the beaumont ones are larger because they are canadian built?.

you should be able to re-core your old one if you are having trouble finding one that fits.  any rad shop should be able to do this..

yea Ive already spoke with a rad shop before ordering the heater core, I got a good price on it so I bought it, the only other problem is if the rad shop can get the proper core

I went through the same thing on my 66 I ended up having to take my core to the parts shop and going through the book and getting all the measurements to match I cant remember what it was actually out of but can see if I can track down the info and pass it on What is the supplier that your parts guy is using?
