Rally gauge cluster for 67 and 68 full size

I recently picked up a rally gauge cluster from a 67 Bonneville. I don't have a use for it, but it was one of those "just can't leave it behind" type of deals!

The lens on the cluster is very clouded up, but once I remove it, the unit looks brand new inside. The markings on it are beautiful. See pics below.

I know there is a thread going on converting a Canadian car to this type of cluster except on a 69 car. This cluster is VERY similar to the 69, and I would be willing to bet that the installation/conversion would be about the same.

I have seen these clusters advertised anywhere from about $200 up to $275.  I did NOT pick it up for a song and as a matter of fact, the gas bill alone was likely 50 bucks to get to the auto wrecking that had it!

That would be a nice addition to someones 67-68 Carl.

Looks pretty close to the 69, but for the difference in the speedo drive and wiring. I bet the instruments are the same 67-70.

I suspect you are right. They sure look similar.

I think Pontiac did a nice job on these. They look so pretty, and get the job done. I didn't even know about them in the early 80's when I had my 67 Grande Parisienne 396 wagon.

Mark,
Imagine how much easier ours would be to hook up if they used wires instead of a circuit board!

Actually Todd, once you know the plug schematic, I think the circuit board makes it easier.

Maybe my price is too high. I am going to run it later on ebay starting at $89 with no reserve.

If that won't do it, I'm going to go out and buy a 67 to put it into!!!

Is it okay to post the ebay link here?

If not, just tell me and I will remove it.

Thanks.

Wow, didn't take long to get a bid! I thought it should be an attractive item. I have not seen many of these offered, or do I not watch carefully enough?

It's climbing like I hoped it would. It's a nice piece, and I figured it should do well.
