How many??

Does anyone have any sales figures on Canadian Pontiac models that were sold new United States?   Obviously, they would have been a "special order" for a someone who lived there.   It has been well documented how many U.S. Pontiacs were sold new in Canada in the 1950's and '60, but not the other way.

Canadian Pontiacs were exported to other countries, especially members of the British Commonwealth, but I've never seen anything written on sales to the United States.

Do you mean Canadian models that were sold in the US or vehicles actually manufactured in Canada?  For example, the Acadian in the late 60's was built in the states for the Canadian market.  To my knowledge, none were sold new in the US.  US Pontiac dealers could hardly be expected to stock parts for and service a car that was almost completely a clone of a Nova.  Astres were also Canadian only models that were eventually sold in the US but to my knowledge were never built here, so they were never actually "exported" to the US.

I believe I know of what you are referring to; the mid-1983 introduction of the C-body Parisienne to the US market as a hasty reaction when the buying public made a rather surprising switch back to full size cars.  This would be the first time the Parisienne would be classed a part of the regular model range, something that would be in stock on a US dealer's lot.  I am asking about in the 1950's and '60 in particular.

I am aware the Acadians and Beaumonts were made in Ypsilanti, MI.  But yes, I mean specifically Canadian market models not listed in regular US literature.  For example, in 1952 there were TWO Canadian Mercury Meteors officially sold new in the United States.  I am just curious to know if any of these unique Canadian market Pontiacs were sold there.
