Today I got the Laurentian to the point that it will now move under it's own power. I had to roll it out and take it for a few bombs up and down the yard just to ensure the brakes work etc. She behaved quite well and the idle sounds great! The car is filthy but I couldn't resist a few photos. Excuse the poor quality. I'm upgrading to a better camera this week.
I only have one complaint about these cars- I wish GM had engineered a better nose to hood fit! Todd
That's cheating. You are doing like all those makeover pics you see in commercials. Ok you guys, look close. In his "before" picture, notice anything else different besides just the wheels???!!!
Seriously Todd, it looks GREAT! But I'm a bit disappointed in the fact that there is no pics of it with about 50 feet of rubber on the pavement behind the back tires.

It looks really good with the stripes, wheels and tires and that soft yellow colour with the black vinyl. Congratulations Todd you are doing a great job. Al

Todd Try cheating it a little todd, adjust the entire bumper assembly up at the bumper support arms to frame mounts. It'd be difficult to get it totaly flush, but you could get it a little closer before the bumper wrap arounds begin to look too high on the fender corners.
Cheers, Mark.

I thought about that. Once the major items are completed I'm going to investigate that. You'd think back in 67 or so when they were designing the 69's someone at GM would say "Geez, that gap looks like sh*t!" As for the burnt rubber, it will come! If all goes well, I may get the interior pulled and at least my carpet installed before I go back to work next week. Todd

x2! Looks great, especially with those 427 badges! How did you ever find those anyway? Now to get working on getting something under the hood that matches!

The car looks good. I have to agree with you the pictures could be better but it's not the camera. Try positioning it so the light is from a different angle.
