I am a newby and am looking for the following parts; Heater afn Idler arm Pitman arm Inner tie rods Outer tie rods Dust cap Gas filler hose Thanks; Stan 519-232-4700
I am thinking that those items (except maybe the gas filler hose) should be available at a parts store such as NAPA.
If you have no luck with that let me know. I am a GM parts manager and we also deal in jobber parts. I can get you part numbers if nobody out there can help you.

Ball joints,tie rod ends,control arm bushings,idler arm and all the power assist parts are available. If you need a pitman arm for power steering car use one for a 68-82 vette.They are available aftermarket. Standard steering arms are not available as they have a ball stud on them. There are places that offer a rebuild service but I have no info on their success rate.Gas filler hose is actually a pipe with a 3 inch hose coupling. hose section ia available from a Chevy aftermarket guy.Any early 60's blowerr motor will work ( mine is from a 64 Pontiac).
