Shoot, I already have work here I don't seem to get at. Too bad, cause putting in air is a real fun job. If you weren't so far away, I know a guy here in town who loves doing jobs like that also.
If you feel like bringing it close to Winnipeg to get done, I think he works for $35 an hour and he's very good. He does this at home on the side. He's a service advisor at the GM dealership I work at and he's no stranger to installing a/c units.
Sorry, now I read your post more carefully and it said to PM you. I guess just PM me if you think this interests you. In the meantime, I hope it's ok to leave this post up. Who knows, maybe someone else will see my response and want him to do something like this as well.

The pieces for air conditioning to be installed in a 1967 Parisienne are currently in my shop. I don't think I want to put them in my convertible, so they are available for sale if someone wants them. If these pieces remain in my shop, I might become tempted to try the installation myself and nothing good is likely to come from that. My first post was not clear enough (thanks Carl). The post made sense to me after the 3 glasses of wine I had last night. If I was to take on the challenge, I would want the pieces as they are right now. Still where they belong in a car, rather than in a box after being removed by some hack (me).
This is first 1967 air conditioned Parisienne I have seen. I have no idea if there is any interest, so I thought I would ask here.

Just to add to your comment about an a/c Parisienne, I have owned two 67 air cars, and I had never seen another one till your pics. I had a 67 Grande Parisienne 396 wagon in the 80's with factory air. Also, in about 76, I bought a 67 Parisienne 4 door hardtop 283 with factory air. It was at an insurance auction. Talk about a plain car! 283, PS, PB and air, that was it... I bought it for the air. We took it out and put most of the stuff in my 66 Grande Parisienne 427 automatic car. Of course the dash was wrong from 67, so I went around many US states and picked up pieces for the dash to finish the conversion.
