They made these in Oshawa but not sure about this one. Since the production numbers are so low on these it is likely to be an Oshawa car given it is here. The rear spoiler is not original to the car. The GT-37 was "the poor man's GTO" a little less expensive and sparsely equipped except speed items.
Wow, that does seem like a lot. However, in the seller's defence, if that is a documented car it is certainly a rare one if that is all the original equipment (stripes, engine, etc.)

I think he's asking too much.Never liked the 69 rear wing and even more so on a 71.I believe the paint colour is also the 69.I might be wrong, but believe that they never came with Judge strips.Being the poormans GTO.There was a Pontiac dealer in Calgary that made a few Jury cars that came with Judge stripes.
I know a fair bit about GT cars. Here is a photo from a brochure, they did offer the Judge stripe on early 71 cars with cast emblem GT-37 switching later to sword stripe and GT-37 cutout. In 1970 the car came with the 1969 Judge stripe too, looks very nice.
What I know about the 1970 Jury is that the 26 cars were all silver with blue interiors and they did have the 69 spoiler added by the dealer. Originally from the dealer they had a Mopar style bumble bee stripe over the rear end.
I stand corrected. I knew that the 69 stripe was used on some of the 70 Judges. It's funny that they use two post cars in the ads.Being as rare as they are.Plus one having the wheel moulding and no rocker with the other having the rocker and no wheel moulding.I wonder how much it cost for the stripes? I think my buddy has some stuff for the Jury cars.I'll get him to send me info and then foward to you ,if you want?
I 'd like to locate a 70 Tempest post car like the one we had and make a GT-37 out of it. Better still a real 1970 post Tempest GT-37. That will be my retirement project but I can start getting parts now!
I think they used post cars in the ads because they were the least optioned and lowest priced models and the whole idea was a cheap muscle car. The other thing I know is that GT cars got wheel well molding as part of the package. The brochure artwork is not always exactly correct, of course having said that I am relying on it to show the stripe, LOL.

And weren't all the Jury cars 2 Dr. Posts?.

I like real cars best...especially the REAL real ones! ----------------------------------------------------------------
I think there were 3. The 70 had the 69 Judge stripe. Then the 71 got the eye brows and sword with cutout GT-37. I don't think that car on eBay has a GT-37 stripe, rather the optional stripe for Lemans and GTO. Will have to do some research.
Very neat, so they were post cars, also had a striped hood. I note the obvious single exhaust system in the photos too. The 350 2bbl was rated at 265 gross HP back in 1970. That would be about 185 net HP by today's standards. Generally 70% is the factor to convert those muscle car gross HP to the net ratings used since 1972.

There is a 71 post car in Edmonton's Buy&Sell for $1850 obo. It's not for sale, but if you go to www.gtoalley.com click on GT-37 on the left and go to pic's.It is a Oshawa built 1970 GT-37 with the 69 stripe.I'm not used to that int on a 70 A body
This one has GT cutouts and the other one you posted does not have cutouts, it is for the GTO.
In 72 the car was simply a LeMans GT and GT-37 and T-37 were dropped as names. I think the change was made part way through 71 because there is a GT model known as 71 1/2 which are supposed to be the most desireable since only 50 to 100 were produced. The GT designation carried on until 1977.
Here in Canada the most famous GT has to be the 1975 Canada Cup cars done in red and white.
The 1976 Olympic car was not a GT. In 1975 red and white GT's were produced for the 48 or so sales regions in Canada, they are known as Cup Cars. In Quebec the car was done in blue and white. The second picture is an Olympic car which was a trim package available on LeMans. You could put it on any car including a 6 cylinder model. GT cars always had V8 standard, 350's mainly with 400 and 455 optional in most years 73-77. Picture 3 is a 77 GT, and picture 4 is a 76 picture 5 is a 74 and my avatar is a 73.
I bought this out of a junkyard in Texas...Baja Gold gold interior 350 4 speed( i think its a 4 speed, it had a 4 speed shifter in the trunk)..1 of 81 Baja cars...who knows how many/or few where post cars or how many where stick cars..if ya use the 10% rule...8 or 9 where like mine.....Its a real GT37 post car.....its everything i ever wanted..a bench seat 4 speed post car..cheap too..im gonna do the PHS this week..but i can see where the GT37 decals where on the fenders..wish it was silver...but its a nice shade of gold so im keeping it gold..last had a BBC in it...
heres a neat pic...

There's a fella in St. Ratford has owned a GT-37 possibly from the time it was brand new and if not when it was only a couple of years old. I haven't seen it around the last couple of years but that's not to say it isn't still around. He used to drive it in the winter but I think he must have got it painted and has stored it ever since. It's kind of a coppery/orange colour but doesn't have any stripe package on it. Not sure if he might even be a member on here or not, but if he is and sees this posting, I hope he shows us his car and tells us about it.
