How old do you think that picture is Mark?

I don't think the car is even in that good of a condition any more....

I contacted a few places about reproducing the emblems. For chrome cast pieces it would run about $400 a pair @ a minimum of 13 pair.

It's cheaper if they have an original to copy from... no tooling.

I'd be in for a pair but too much front money for me to get them made

Gary

there was a time when he wanted $7000 for all of it

as for 427 emblems they could be sandcasted affordably

Seems the build plate is the only rare thing left.

What are the contact details of the person who can reproduce the emblems?

You would think there must be sales out there for quite a few sets, wouldn't you?

Here's the poop;

Motorhead jewelery www.motorheadjewelery.com

I sent pics of an NOS 1968 396 V8 emblem requesting a repop with 427 numbering.

6 pieces $ 294 each, (next 6 $124 each).
25 pieces $145 each, (next 25 $105 each).
50 pieces $115 each, (next 50 $95 each).

This is an exact chrome over white metal, painted emblem with two studs.
Best low run deal is 26 pieces for $3730 (13 pr at $286.92 pr).

There is $7 each savings with no studs and a fairly significant discount if an original can be provided [13prs @ $246.50].

They have fantastic response to inquiries.

If someone wants to run with this I'm in for a pair.

Gary

I tried to buy this car about three or four years ago.  The pictures are old.  There is nothing left to this car except for cowl tag, if it is still there. Plus the 427 block is long gone, someone should tell these guys with their 427's for sale at nine grand and up, (maybe a L72 4 speed rag top) that still need a total restore.  To wake up, they are not worth that kind of moneyNot in any market. Just my opinion.

I also looked at this car about 5 yrs ago before it was for sale. After the last buyer bought everything noted above, Morley still had the 4 speed console which he was selling a while back.

If I understood correctly, the man who bought Morley's parts also has one or two other 69 Pontiac 427 cars, is that right?

Nope!  different guy...   This fellow has 427 and 409 Chevies..   This is his only Pontiac..  He did have a 67 SD 396. but sold it back to original owner..

You may have been thinking of the "Dentist"  as I was..

I was totally shocked to see this fellow today...

I spoke to him in 2006, and he remembered to look me up...biggrin  he lives 20 minutes from me...
