They are neat, a guy brought a 62 F85 with a 215 V8 to our local cruise two weeks ago and it was the centre of attention. Pontiacs we a bit more on the edge though with half a 389 and tranny in the rear. 12 or 14 years ahead of the time in those days.
Hey cool!!! I haven't seen one of these rope drive cars for years!. You guys must remember Arnie 'The Farmer' Beswick's drag cars?. His 'Tameless Tiger' cars were based on these before the '64 A-Body cars came out and very sucessful running a couple of them including a wagon..
