Yeah, blaming the US president for your overpriced cheesewagon not selling is always a sure sign of a loser.

Maybe you need to take a ride in a RA 4 car or a 455 HO biggrin
Pontiac made some nice motors to go along with their cars.I wish it was as cheap to rebuild as a Chevy.

Statements like that are what to write if you don't want Americans bidding on your car.

Someone should ask him, seeing that he has a rare Canadian built Judge maybe, just maybe he's lucky enough to have one of those late built ones that everyone is talking about documented with a Chevy Big Block like a Canadian Pontiac-it would have no problem bringing the dollars !

When he fell over from the heart attack or stroke would that be considered murder or involuntary manslaughter?

Gotta love some people. Now i'm not a George W. fan, but to slight someone doing so with some creativity would be appropriate, not that profanity laced rant he had. I ran into someone like that who runs another website devoted to Canadian Pontiacs. I wasn't looking to be a member, i respect that they only want cars up to 1972. I only asked the owner/moderator of that club if they knew of a Trans Am group. or a group that would include cars of my vintage. I got a sorry about your luck owning that car reply. Not classy and i wouldn't recommend the club to anyone. The most important thing is we share a passion for old cars, no matter what they are...while preferring some makes/brands over others. I sure didn't like that quip about Mopars, i've got a soft spot for them. I really appreciate being accepted on the boards here, even if my car isn't Canadian built. I also have lots of technical/mechanical things to learn and i appreciate a place where all car people are accepted. Thanks for the group, and thanks for having me be part of it! My smallblock 305 and I salute you!

Ah....THAT Canadian Pontiac site.  I think we had a similar experience.

Yup, I agree, the quality of the listers, a willingness to "self police" as it were, and an effective moderator really help make or break the site.  One of the very best sites in terms of helpful members who welcome all newbies, are a wealth of technical advice and don't tolerate unacceptable behaviour or posts is the First Generation Firebird site.  The members there have helped me out more times than I can count.
http://www.firstgenfirebird.org/

From my experience so far, this site has had an excellent start with a good bunch of listers who, although they have many different models of Pontiacs, are truly interested in each others cars and in both learning and helping each other out.

Todd

As you know, I have been away this past week. As I was catching up reading all the posts I missed I came upon this thread, and your opening post. UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE.....

It is our good fortune that someone with that attitude has no desire to be here. Not only is that a sure sign of a non-car enthusiast, but many adjectives come to mind when I see his reply to you.

Keep on doing what you are doing and don't let one loser ruin it in the sandbox. He can take his little toy and go home.
