1960 Pontiac Laurentian(it followed me home)

So I was at the A&W cruise on Wed, and this guy asks me if I'd be interested in another Pontiac.  A 60 4door. I gave him my # and he said he'd pass it on to this lady that had the car and was gonna donate it to the school he worked at.(he's the auto shop teacher) The school board said no, so he saw my wagon and thought he'd ask me.  Anywayz, the lady phones, and I ask how much, she said show up and haul it away. The original 261 was rebuilt 3 years ago, along with the 3 speed standard trans, but never installed back in the car. I went over today with my buddy and his trailer, and picked it up.  WOW, nice for a freebie....Now, do I part it? Or do I sell it?  I really don't need a lot of parts off it and its in fantastic shape.  HMMM, What to do???
What do you guys think? Just Curious ( My buddy thinks I should sell it the way it is, with or without the motor)
Its a really pale green colour with a green interior, and it came with the shop manual. It was last registered in '73 in Alberta.

If you have a place to store it what about holding on for a while. Maybe you'll feel like doing something with it. Or advertise and see what bites you get, if you're not in a rush to sell see what the best price you can get for it will be. Or...you could give it away to one of us on here*L* Deliver to Ontario?

Good advice to hang on to it for a while if you can. Don't be too hasty disposing of it, lest you have regrets doing that later.

Wait!    until you find a Pontiac guy, who would appreciate a car like that.. Then give him a "good deal" on it, if he promises to "love" it, and becomes a member!  biggrin

That's a solid looking car, How's the frame? If it's good you should put it back together.

Isn't that rear 1/4 trim unique to that model. Probably hard to find. I'd keep it.

Thanks Guys!!! The Underside looks good, and the truck has two holes at the wheel tubs. The rear floors have had sheet metal welded right over top of the original floors from under the car, but I have access to a couple good used pans.
We thought the six must weigh alot, because the front sits so high without the motor. It has coil over shocks in the front??? Has anyone heard of this? the rears are just normal shocks though.
I will be taking more pics today (hopefully)

some people have all the luck dont they!!?? Why cant i get a freebie!! Thats an awesome car, i would put it away for awhile and wait till you get the bug to start building again, let it rattle through your brain for awhile or bring it to London, Todd can keep it at his place but has to let me drive it a couple times.

Well, its not like you'll lose money on it-might as well keep it-My neighbour has power steering for it ! If it were in southern Ontario I'd be over after it.
