In 1985, a friend and I took his 67 Beaumont SD clone to our first ever POCI convention in Denver. Looking at some old stuff last night I found this pic of a car that was there from Lethbridge. I still remember the couple who owned it, but I believe they are not together any more. Is the car still around? It was advertised a few years later,  in Hemmings I believe.

They did a write up on this car in Canadians Classics mag, a few years back. I think that was the mag. I think I still have it around somewhere.

Very cool car, 327 4 speed. It sure made the people look in Denver. They all thought it looked way too short!

I saw the car in Radium, I think 4 years ago. It was my favorite car at the show (out of approx. 500 cars). Still looks the same, and is sweeeet.

For a fleeting moment I had an idea to put Canadian Poncho in print- a quarterly publication.. Then I realized I'd likely have to quit my day job to do it.

YOU  could apply for a several million dollar "forgiveable loan" and publish the magazine, of course thats what Dale did at Candian Classic.s  and now hes gone?

That car was on the cover of the Fifty 5-6-7 Newsletter years ago. It is a very very nice piece.

A while back I was doing a search for references to the magazine on Google.  I found a reference in some legal website which published the court records of a legal action between the publisher and the Government of Canada, something to do with the government's failure to advance a loan. The publisher lost the court case and was also assessed court costs. I assume that had something to do with the demise of the magazine. It's been at least two years since I've seen it, and latterly it was being published only bi-monthly.
