They do look different alright. I've used them a few times and been happy with them. I think you can order them in AC Delco for that car too, can't you? (even though they are actually Moog or TRW, I forget which, in the AC Delco box.)

Bought variable rate ones a few years ago, but they were binding, and causing an awful noise!! Carmine at Classic Performance found out what was causing it and changed them out to original springs for a SD... just my experience.. They were from Moog also...

Do you recall if it was the exhaust that was an issue? I will try and give Classic Perf. a call in the morning see if they can recommend. Interesting, thanks for the heads up Scott.
All Carmine said is the springs were binding...when I went over a bump they had an awful noise!! They replaced them with factory springs, not sure who makes them, but eliminated the problem.
Installed new coil springs on all four corners. AC-Delco's. Went with variable rate in the rear, changed ride height ~+5/8". Then replaced sagging front coils and blocks and increased ride height ~+1 1/2". Looks very close to factory to me now and should be. Had a bit of a scare though after putting car down on new fronts measured new height at +2 1/2"(almost was looking GASSER). But after a short drive car settled 1 inch in front. This with new shocks and sway bar bushing kit has improved handling so much hard to believe it is same car. Front springs were soooo bad.

Going back to the first post at the top of the page, can you tell me what your replacement coils looked like on top? Does the top of your coil look like the rusty springs or the black springs?

I dare any of you to call Eibach and try to tell THEM that.... I gave up, their tech line was a total joke. "Nobody has ever complained before that those springs are wrong for a 67 A body".... Yeah, right. If nobody else has ever called you about that to say they are for 64-66, I'll eat my shorts. What's likely the most common, or at least second most common year for A body? (I'm thinking north America now.) It's either 65 (all those Goats) or 67 ( all those Chevelles). I bet Eibach has sold hundreds, if not thousands of pairs of wrong springs to customers for a 67.

By the way, I think that car sits REAL nice with those springs.

Here's an afterthought. Could have asked the guy for upper spring insulator and then asked him why 64 thru 66 is 1 listing and 67 is separate.
Don't you just love it when they know everything and won't listen?
Not if it's like on a 67. You can look up in the top pocket where the spring sits but I'm quite sure there's no way to index the spring when you install it like there is on a front spring. Just make sure the pocket is flat where the top will push against it.
