65 Beaumont wagon trim

Beaumont wagon asked me to show him the parts page for his car. I don't know how to scan and email to him, so I thought I'd post it here from my photobucket for him to see. How rare must 65 Beaumont wagon Custom trim be???

There's the proof!  wow, those fins on the tailgate would be the most rare beaumont trim parts ever.
Maybe not as sought after as an SD emblem, but certainly rare, rare, rare!!!!!!

speaking of throwing stuff away, i was over at my parents helping him clean up the shop on saturday, i grabbed a cardboard box with some misc garbage in it...was going to toss it but i looked thru the wire and stuff and saw 1/2 of the quarter script off a 67sd car "sport"... must have been off the gold/gold sd car that i sold for parts... good thing i looked before tossing it!!

Thanks Carl. That is the proof. Now I just need to find the 3 ( of 10) vertical louvers that Im missing.Beaumont guru, don't forget also how just as rare are the rear quarter panel hockey stick trim would be for Custom wagon.Just like you said, the coupe/sedan part and the wagon part arent the same, the quarter on a wagon is slightly taller above the bumper.I just took a spare , long spear trim part ,trimmed it to length, and heated it as I shaped it to form a 90 degree hockey stick part. Only took a couple hours and it looks perfect, after I filed, hammered and dollied and filed some more.

went to Vancouver Island on Friday to pick up a 65 SD rag.. and this is one of the parts cars.. do you still need those fins?  I grabbed them for you.. also the tail light housings and covers.
The "hockey stick" chrome was broken on the pass side, and the drivers side had a screw threw it.. but it's still there if you want it.. I just have to call the guy and he'll grab it for you.
ALSO.... the back panel only had four per side.. not five.. so that may be one of those "typo's" in the manual, or a model ID thing.

Besides the brand new 69 Beaumont wagon that a neighbour had back in 69, I've never seen a real live Beaumont wagon of any year, at least not that I can remember. The neigbour traded the 68 Laurentian Wagon he had the year before in on the 69.

I guy I know wrecked a 65 Beaumont wagon. I would of took the car but he robbed the clip and srcapped the rest and didn't even ask if I wanted it. I still have a hard time talking to him. I don't think he knew how rare it was. I could of bought it out from under him but I was being nice. I kick myself now because it's gone forever. I hate when history is gone. Thats why I have saved so many cars. Only 64-65 Beaumonts forever!!biggrin
