Actually I think the ball is still in my court on that one, I won't be talking to the owner again until spring now   which still seems to be a LONG way off

So, looking at that car, where does someone get rear quarters for it, or is the restorer faced with cutting out the bad stuff and making the replacements?

Sure, all the big blocks were sourced from Tonawanda, all Tonawanda built engines got the sticker.
