Any Thanksgiving cruises going on?

Well I got my boat put away this week so I'm not having to do that this weekend, so I'm going to take my T/A out for a last fall cruise. Anybody else doing the "end of season before storage" touring?

I had mine out tonight. Off to Chicagoland for the weekend. I'm not ready to put mine away for the winter quite yet. 2 weeks until it's 40th Birthday.

I'm keeping the Laurentian "road ready" until the first snow fall. You never know we could still get some milder days right up into November.

Thanks! it's an 84 SeaRay. Old but still reliable. It really cuts into the old car budget though.

Hi Carl. It's got twin 305's. Mercruiser rated at 200 hp each. They are 2 barrel engines. I have been tempted to up the horses, but it runs so nice I don't want to mess with it. I'm afraid to calculate the gallons per hour, but it swigs up between $200 to 400 per day. Even more if your running more than a couple of hours.

That sure is a nice boat.
I won't be doing much cruising this weekend. Got carpentry to do after work today. And going to help with some other stuff. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving at the in-laws. Then Monday i get to work. Maybe i'll drive the T/A to work, i plan on putting it away Tuesday, so that will be it's last hurrah for the season. I had it out the other day, and it DOES NOT like the cold mornings!

What a great weekend weather-wise. The Laurentian will be coming out for sure. It's nice that gas is hovering around a buck too.

I spent a good bit of time at that marina and the inner bay 96-99. My freind Jim had a 24' Doral that he kept there. Not sure of the slip, but when you came into the harbour, you kept to the right as you passed the pumps, then about half way along on the left was his slip.
The dock and the weeds tipped me off Earl!
Lets go to Pottahawk 09'!

Just got back from a cruise to Turkey Point. Beautiful weather!! A couple of friends were going out on Lake Erie. Jill didn't want to go, so homeward bound and now we get to have a real turkey dinner at home. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Another great day. I'm currently sitting on the deck enjoying the weather and surfing the web. I can smell the turkey cooking in the kitchen. MMMMMMMM!

You lucky dogs. Weather here sucks.

That's ok, the plans for tomorrow make up for the lousy weather...

No snow but wet and breezy.

I see they had snow about 800 miles southwest of us in Montana though. Ouch! Too early.

Is anyone going out tomorrow? I got back earlier than I had figured and would like to get the car out for a run.
