The only thing that could be cooler than a Super Duty would be a Swiss Cheese Canadian Pontiac 409 car!. I even like the factory equipped Ford scoops on the '62's!.

Jim Wangers said in his book that those aluminum manifolds were good for only a couple of runs, tops, before they started to melt. It was expensive to go racing when you had to swap out the manifolds after every couple of runs...

Before my time but i'm a big fan of the 60's super stockers. Great looks and just the bare essentials. I've always appreciated their style and the fact that you could pretty much buy the car at the dealership, if you had the money...and the connections.
If any of you guys if ever going to be in eastern Nebraska, let me know. My friend there owns the original Don Gay Pontiac 62 Super Duty Catalina and he's a real down to earth car nut. He would be happy to show you the car, I'm sure. It's VERY cool to say the least!
