Cowl Tag secrets for 67 2+2

Anybody know if this car is a 427 car from the data on the cowl tag?

I was told it was but the engine is long gone.

Hey Ken. Usually down at the bottom of the tag, like we discussed, it should have it there. This one is empty. I am sure the guys with more experience will help out. Also, if you want the pic larger when you post, hit "insert" near the attachment. It will come out larger. I found this out myself!

C2 is awefully happy!!! Hey Vern, no it isn't photobucket as C1 stated. I am not suscribed to that. But I did made Kens cowl pic larger similar by using C1's method as posted in another thread. I just thought it would be nicer to have your pics stored on your computer to be larger than the pic of the cowl tag in this thread. When you first upload your pics, uploading will appear then files, select "insert"near the remove icon for attachments and another box will appear--say ok to that and then submit post. Do that for all of them one at a time. Took me awhile but got it!!
If someone else knew this, I wish they had to tell me sooner!!!!!evileye

It is a unrestored, 3 lady owner base car, from Toronto.. It was updated to 427 power, in 1991 by Parkhurst Motors in Belleville.. Glen Thomas of Toronto took it to New Brunswick, and raced it there, and also run it at Cayuga.. He stored it in N.B. for several years, and sold it to Andy MacDonald of Moncton. Peter Lerette, knew I had been gaga over a car similar to it, in 1966-67  I flew down in 2006, and drove it home.. It is 1of 2792  It was painted in 1996, and has all original panels (strange for a Ont. car) It is not a clone or tribute car or a recreation.. It a big old ulgy 2 door with available big block added   ..  It is 1 of 3 or 4 left in the world..

Well, I learned something new about this site tonight. I always use Photobucket so I didn't know about the insert feature when you upload. Thanks guys!

From what I can see in the pictures it was a totally optionless car (Like no radio or heater)?

How much does it weigh?
