Question about the 1967-70 canadian Pontiac 2+2 = ?

Did they all come with bucket seats and what other B body style came with the buckets ie. Parisienne custom sport ?...Also what American model B Bodies Pontiac came with the bucket seats in those same years ? Thanks

I believe all '67 - '70 2+2's came with bucket seats, as the first "2" in 2+2 means 2 people in the front.  There were a handful of column shift cars that had a blank console.  Re other b-body Pontiac's, I don't think the Custom Sport was still around by '67, likely replaced by the 2+2.  '67 - '69 Grande Parisienne's could also have had the strato buckets, or possibly the strato bench.  2 doors with the strato bench would have had seat backs that leaned forward, but 4 dr versions with strato bench would have had stationary backs.

I think it was the Ventura's that came with the buckets in the USA as well, correct me if I'm wrong. Any other B bodies came with buckets back then ?

In the US built full size line, buckets were optional in Catalina, Ventura and Bonneville coupes & convertibles from 61 to 64 for sure. I've also seen photos of a 62 Bonneville wagon with the same seating, said to be optional original. Buckets were standard on GP from 62-64, but in the later years up to 68 I think (but don't know for sure) that there may have been a bucket seat delete option in which you got the strato bench seat similar to that offered in the 66-68 Caprice and Impala SS.  On the 64-67 US 2+2, buckets were standard.

I believe 2+2 is correct about the seating arrangements in the Canadian Custom Sport & 2+2 between 64 & 70 (was there a bucket seat delete in 67-70 I wonder?). Custom Sport was the Impala SS equivalent from 64-66, replaced by the Parisienne 2+2 from 67-70. And as the 70 experts here know, the 2+2 did not have an Impala equivalent in 70 because the SS Impala was dropped after 69. So the 70 2+2 is truly unique, especially in big block form.

What's interesting to me is that as I read the 1969 info, a 2+2 came standard with a 350, buckets, console, and a three-on-the-tree.  So you got a filler plate on the console and column shift.

Never seen one actually ordered that way, though.

I haven't seen a dummy console car, but the Dentist in London ON told me he bought one a few years ago.  They're likely rare.

I've seen a 67 Impala dummy console car. In a wrecking yard, no less. The biggest dummy was me for not buying the console......

It was a 3 speed bolt action with overdrive.

I remember in the mid 80's seeing a 67 or 68 parisienne 4 door with buckets and a console, can't recall wether it was a sedan or HT, or what model it was(GP?) But I did see it....Really

I can't imagine a 4-door ever shipped with buckets, at least it'd be news to me if they did.

I wonder where they got the parts to build the 1970s edition, since they weren't making Impala SS cars any longer. I'd be surprised they'd keep vendor production open just to feed the small Canadian 2+2 market. Maybe they had enough left over in the stream?
