I have a parts book that covers 58-66 Canadian full size Pontiac.
It was missing the cover as well as the first few pages. I photocopied the missing pages from another book I had. However, it's from a different year so they publishing date etc appears wrong.
The numerical index at the back of the book is missing some pages, I don't know how many. I have a newer issue of this book with a complete numerical index but there will be more numbers in the newer issue so I didn't want to copy and attach that because it could be confusing since some of the numbers in the newer index will not be in this parts book. Confused???!!!
At any rate, someone has done a nice job binding this book tightly in non original material to preserve it. Other than the numerical index being incomplete, the rest of the book appears perfect other than 42 years of wear as a parts book at a GM dealership.
I would like to get $125 mailed within Canada for this book. I want it to go to a good home. Hopefully someone on here will make me an offer I can't refuse!
Please reply on here if you are interested so I can keep things in order. If I get one PM and one response here it can be tough settling who is first! (Ask me how I know!)

i will adopt it so it will never have to be out in the cold again and i will let it share the sleeping area with my 5 Buick GM parts books. I will tell them not to make fun of the poor Pontiac book knowing it is missing some valuable inforamtion and of course my Buick books are not
So if you want it going to a good ( if not great ) adoptive parent let me know
Well i see now that you really need to let that book live here as it will finally have some affection and companion ship and finally get the attention that it obviously is missing now. I see why some of the pages are missing becuase the commited suicide due to a lack of companionship so I would be doing it a favor and bring it inot a smaller happy family
and yes i have been in sales for 30 yrs how could you tell HAHAHA In fact i was a national sales trainer for 8 years
i cant read, and i mostly just like pictures! Ive never seen one of these books. Do they have all the parts and #s so if you were to order a part you know exactly what you need?
That is correct, although there is a limited amount of stuff still available to order. It would be pretty much limited to mechanical parts left available for ordering.
I use parts books a lot to find out what parts fit from other cars and other years. I also use them for assembling sometimes if I can't remember how something looks like a set of brackets, or steering column, suspensions to know which way a bolt should face, stuff like that. I am constantly in the parts books at home here. My family thinks I'm a touch south of normal........
