Your truck looks like it has everything except maybe the tailgate. the V8 script goes below the GMC on the side. I never seen the tach. i put stewart warner gauges in mine a couple of years ago. did you have to change the cross member to install the 409?

I believe I have an endgate somewhere but the truck has been sitting for 5-6 years now. Never seen one, except the 2-ton where I got the tach, with a V8. And this one still has the original 6cyl in it.
409?? I wish!!! To be honest, only seen a live 348 and not a 409. But thanks for the wishful thinking though!!! (lol)

Note on the Tach in question.  It is a SUN tach, the round red circle ones are generic sun tachs available for any car/truck back in the 60's.

They are commonly refered to as "football" tachs because of the red oval.
The real GM sun tachs did not have the "football"

This one being a 5000 RPM would have been correct for low rpm truck aplications.
a very cool period correct tach
