1960 Pontiac Laurentian Safari wagon

So, this is my '60 Pontiac Laurentian Safari that I bought for the summer cruising season while my Customline is apart. That project is almost done so I need to make some room!

-It's got a 70's 305 SBC + Powerglide in it. Strong motor, no smoke or funny noises. Trans shifts smooth. Cruises great on the freeway
-Transmission serviced this past week. New gaskets
-Hurst floor shifter
-Interior has been done in the recent past in burgundy/white tuck n' roll with red piping. SUPER roomy in there!
-Floors are solid, but have been gone over, not replaced
-All trim comes attached or with the car
-Wood rim steering wheel
-Body is good
-Tailgate opens and shuts fine.....tailgate window rolls up and down, no problems
-Comes with factory radio (in dash but not hooked up)
-Converted the front to discs
-ENTIRE braking system replaced, you name it....it's new
-All new front-end bushings
-4 new shocks
-4 new springs
-4 new steelies with brand new tires

A solid daily driver that never gave me any grief. Sorry to see her go, but she's just too big for my living arrangement right now.

Call 604 868 5580

$5,000.....FIRM.

My brother looked at this one too, but bought something else too. The price scared him off at the time. At $5000, he probably would have bought it!

i wonder if i could slip another wagon in the driveway without
"anyone" noticing??.. i never seen another one around, we got close
on the deal, but the $1300 shipping by searail was an extra cost
that i just couldnt justify.. too bad my 66 belair is nice , but a
canadian wagon is cooler!

Seen the ad on KIJIJI Calgary, Now tryin to decide if I should go get it.  My buddy thinks I should (I already have a Strato Cheif wagon) but mine still needs a lot of work.   Is the car right in Van?

I just emailed him thru the ad on KIJIJI, but if you have more pics that would be great.  Do you guys think it would pass an OOP?
                                   Thanks,  ken

I haven't seen the car. I think Marty has. As for a OOP??? I'm guessing that is a inspection of the car to make sure everything works. Canadian Tire does them, but don't know if it's valid for Alberta.

The OOP is Out of Province inspection. If I bought it, I would have to get one here in Alberta.

Honestly I dont see why the car would not go through inspection It is a real decent driver that has had some upgrades I will forward him onto the site and let him know that you may be contacting him

My brother looked at this car, and he said the mechanicals were in pretty good shape. I think it should pass in Alberta.

You should have no problem driving the wagon to Alberta

When I had it, I let my 18 year old daughter drive it anywhere

she never had a problem

Shes 23 now and still mad at me for selling it

I only sold it because I didnt want it sitting outside over the winter
