Just looking at the option list for 69 Beaumonts and noticed the U15 option, speed warning indicator. What did this look like ? Has any one ever seen one on a Beaumont before. Was it a buzzer or a warning light ? Also in brackets it says U14 must not be spec. U14 is the instrumentation special on Z25 cars. Do you take that to mean not available with the full instrumentaion option U14 ? Would be nice see a picture of one for a 69, any one?
my 69 442 had what I believe was called a speed alert. It simply was an extra hand on the speedometer dial that you manually turned to a preset speed. When you exceeded that speed a buzzer sounded. Dale @ NOS
Thanks rick, sounds like the same set up as the B body cars. Probably rare as hens teeth on Beaumonts. Going to keep my eyes open for this option on Beaumonts at car shows and swap meets.

jUST THE 68 WAGON THIS YEAR-THE 69 WAGON IS ABOUT TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM GETTING PAINTED-i HAVE BEEN BLOCKING THE CAR FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE 2 YEARS ALREADY,BUT i GOT IT EXTREMELY STRAIGHT SO IT SHOULD BE NICE. I'll try to get a pic of the speedminder on here soon
I have that option on my 67 SD, it is a dial on the speedo that you can set, it sounds a buzzer when you hit that speed..
Could of used that option today. Was doing 60 K in a 50 K zone and there was a cop car on the side of the road. I slowed down quick to 50 but not sure. Will have to wait to see if anything shows up in the mail.
