66 2+2's were USA only, likely with a 389 engine. I presume they're actually a Catalina 2+2 like in '65. They have the side louvers behind the doors (3 louvers per side if I recall correctly, each about a foot long).
GM kept moving the louvers around on the 2+2's: I can't remember where the side louvers are for 64, 65 they're on the lower front fender, 66 they're just behind the door, 67 they're on the upper front fender (but the USA louvers are different than the Cdn louvers for 67), 68 they're lower front fender, 69 behind the door again, and, 70 lower front fender again.

Only 2+2s sold in 65 & 66 were the US Catalina 2+2 cars. They were factory stock with a 421, 3 speed manual trans. In 67 the base engine was a 428. 2+2 sold in the US for only 4 years from 64 - 67 inclusive. Only year you could get a 389 was 64. My 64 2+2 ht is a 389.
