Did the dog dish caps vary from year to year on the Beaumonts? If so, does anyone have pictures of the various caps? Thx in advance...

Based on the brochure pictures I checked from own collection it would appear that they are all the same. Well there are slight differences:
64/65 have a solid back centre with a large A on it.
66/67 same hub cap but now the A is replaced with the Beaumont spear
68/69 same hub cap this time the centre is silver with the Beaumont spear.
This isn't usual for GM or Pontiac for that matter. Guess its another way that GM of Canada saved money while producing these cars. Six year run on hub caps with only minor changes. Also the changes when made lasted for two model years.
If they could save a buck it appears GM of Canada would do it.

Thanks muchly. So it sounds like they are all the same size and pretty much the same design. Interesting. I think the ones that I have must be from the 68-69 era. thx

The Beaumont hubcaps from 1964-67 were based on 1964-65 Chevelle hubcaps. The 1968-69 Beaumont hucaps were based on the 1966-67 Chevelle hubcaps.
Thx for the visual summary! The ones I have are definately 68-69...

If you like I can take a pic of the non-black ones I have so that you can compare to your black ones?

its identical, except for the black paint where the goldish colour is.... are you putting these on your 66? what colour is the car?
ak
I got these after I ordered up some of the 15" Vintique Corvette Ralley wheels (which have yet to arrive.) If I had found these prior, I probably would have just gone with some body matching blue steel wheels. (3 are in pretty good shape, 1 not bad.) Love the look of them on your car. The black ties in nicely!
