'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
This thread is great. When I was a kid pumping gas, I used to check all the older cars dealer tags that would stop for gas. Since the gas station was right on the Trans Canada highway (east of Calgary) there were tons of non local dealer emblems to see. Wish I'd have know to snap pictures of them... Gotta love hindsight.
Scotia Chev-Olds was on Robie Street in Halifax when I was growing up. It was bought in the '80s by the O'Regans who now own several dealerships locally.
cool plate Vincent ,would be a cool tread for later, plate show off
saw these today
On a vendors board at Fall Barrie. Vendor is a regular and collects Pontiac stuff. Emblems were $5 ea Considered buying a couple of them. A couple of them I already have.
Original dealer dealer name on my '75 Grand Am. I have an original hey chain as well. Royal Pontiac Buick Cadillac in West Vancouver. I have the original glovebox paperwork as well.

That I wouldn't know. Royal was still in business when I bought the car in '89. Closed about a year or two later. The land was sold and condo's went up.
Thanks for the info, do you know when Royal took over from Bill Conroy? My '75 Grand Am 4dr was bought new at McKay Pontiac Buick GMC in Calgary. Dealer still exist's as McKay today. I was able to get a couple of the dealer crest's just after I bought the car. The Sales Manager sent me a couple in the mail, the design hasn't changed from the mid seventies which is cool. Just a little thicker.
This car is family owned since new, it was just passed on from father to son. It had been away in storage for ten years, so I was asked to get it started. It's a 62 Impala Sports Coupe, it has only 82,000 miles on the odometer! We were able to find the paper trail inside the car as well as alot of the purchasing paperwork! His Dad purchased the car at Regina Motor Products and was used as a daily driver as well the family holiday vehicle.
I'm looking for the emblem off the back of a Mander Car. My grandfather James Mander recently passed away, and I'm looking for some momento's for my sons to remember their Papa.
I'm not sure if your car still has one, or if your willing to part with one.
some amazing history in your families dealership,i imagine you would have great photos and stories?
ive only seen the emblem once and i imagine its quite sought after.
