Hey Guys!     When I received photos from Saint John last year, one was of a "real" L72 4 speed....  I thought maybe you guys, could ask around, and see where it went....  Actually Peter L. says there were (2) real 427 Pontiacs from Fredericton..... Carl

427 2 DOOR 1967 (Custom).jpg

Its running A/S which is correct for 427-425 car

wow. I'd love to stumble upon one of them. There are gems to be found. I'm amazed at how many people dont use the internet whatsoever, and nobody knows what they have.

I can't get the print larger on that photo, but Peter says it refers to a Fredericton sponser    something like Fredericton Fish & Chips....

I would be surprised if you did!!  Most were rode hard, and put away wet..  My friends 396/427 2 door in Sackville, was smashed to the cowl in 1970..bleh  By then it was a 283 3 speed. lol             I had a fellow out West, wanting to buy my car, but wants a matching number L72 Pontiac 2 door!!   What a Hoot.    I heard of a black one in Niagara Falls.(in 1966).    that makes 3.   lots of chevys... The only reason my car survived, was the fact, that  was lady owned (6cyl no ps) and she didn't like it..lol  2000 miles per year in first 25 years

I posted it on Kijiji and everyone thinks its too expensive, but think cloned Biscaynes are worth 25G   Funny!    hope you guys can track down stories and photos...

I don't want to be counted in as "everybody" cause I think your car is a good deal-clone or no clone-a bargain for any clean BB 4-speed car, If Leo bought my beaumont I'd be right over.

anyone looking to purchase a car should be counting there cash

I find it funny how everyone thinks they can find the score someplace and yet if they did and even aquired it for nothing they wouldn't be done at your price.

Carls Strato Chief is easily worth 20k. I am surprised someone from the U.S hasn't bought it. You'd be a hero at the local cruise night!

Hi Carl,

There's a small glimmer of hope on this topic. I talked to a guy at work today, and he remembers the car. He's going to try to come up with the owners name that owned one of them.
I'll report as soon as I get any new info ! wink
