What the heck, might as well stir the "is-Beaumont-a-Pontiac pot!" biggrin

Just kidding, this pic is for any of you Beaumnt guys who don't happen to know that you can likely find a date code on your frame on the driver's side rail behind the back wheel.

Also, on top of the frames behind the driver's wheel you can find the last 6 of the VIN. In the picture of this guy's frame the last 4 digits of the VIN are whited out. You can see the "1 0 " it starts with.

I found this on my rear frame last year, and asked about it on this site, and someone said "PON" likely meant that the frame came from Pontiac Michigan!!

Just curious, how close is the frame date to your build date?

   Pretty Close Carl,

   Build date... 5  23
   Frame date  5  15

   Not surprising seeing that the frame was made within 1 1/2 (1969) hours of  Oshawa assembly.
