I am about to rebuild my 261 and would like to repaint the green before putting it back in, anyone know what the paint color/code might be for the 261 in 1962? If you don't know the factory color/code, what have you used and where can you get it?Thanks in advance...Steve

Is that high heat paint? Any more details on the product as I would love to post this on the engine colour thread. I am assuming it is the darker of the engine colours used.

Thanks. Here is the info on that GM Racing Green paint. It's Dupli-Color Racing Green . Cap # DE1644 And UPC label code is CDE1644 Racing Green. Like I was saying it is the exact color because I never painted the valve cover or breather cap but I did do the block and oil pan and there is no difference in color. Agian Hope this help .eh!
