Interior door trim

I am pretty sure my car is missing the chrome trim above the doors, from the top of the front pillar back. I recently put a new windshield in the car and the Glass guy pointed it out. I have owned the car for 4 years and had never noticed. it is hard to find a good interior pic of a 61 laurentian 2 door post showing above the window glass. Can someone tell me what i amlooking for? And maybe a place to find these pieces?   Thanks.confuse

Are you sure there is somthing missing?

I dont think the base models have chrome inside trim.
It would be nice to see a pic so i know exactly what you are talking about.

Cool 2dr post!

Ihave a 61 pontiac parisienne 4 door sedan and there is no chrome mouldings whatsoever. but in 62 the parisienne had chrome pillars, that what I call them down the inside of the window, across the top and both sides and around the back window. I believe the us pontiacs had the chrome in the 61 bonnvilles and catalinas.

You've got me thinking now! i may have been looking in the wrong direction, The fellow i bought this car from also had a 62 parisienne. He stated that the seats in the car i purchased were out of one, which makes me think he may have added the chrome "A Pillars" out of his doner car just becuase he had them?? They do look nice, but as stated by Beaumontguru, they quite possibly were never part of the original interior package on the Laurentian. Thanks, i will start looking at 62 parisiennes and such.

I wish he would have stuck around but he hasn't logged in since 2010.
