68 beaumont


Hey I am looking into a 68 i have some numbers but i don't know whats what can anybody help with these.
On the Dash7383781105945

i can help with some...the first three of the v.i.n 738 means it`s an SD396 car, the A51 means bucket seat,D55-console M20-4 speed.. AA black paint.

YES Boy you guy's are good. I am torn should i buy this car or another i am looking into a 68 convertable what do guy's think is the better car.

Thx im just not to sure i think about the SD and thats good and all but then i think about driving with the wind in my hare lol.
How many 68 covertable's do you think are out there left ?

buy the sd 4spd car , how many bb sd 4sp cars are around?? not many, who wants a small block car when you can get a real bb car , its a givin for sure!!! go get it today, dont be thinking about it just get it .

Thank you very much. The one convertable is not an SD but he has put 454 in it. I think the rear end is 12 bolt with 333 gears... not sure whats the trany.
The other convertable that im thinking about has a 400 motor with a 400 trany.
Both cars are priced the same... 20 grand and they are both a long drive from where i live.
I will try to get pic's of the rags and where they are.

OHMY Yes it is.
The one rag im looking at the body is very clean and the interior is good but the dash is cracked cry.gif .....Paint is ten years old 454 has about 5000 k auto

Here are pic's of the trunk... They did new rear quarters but i don't know if this is the proper way to do it? anybody know how to install new quarters ?
