...thanks Carl..so obviously there's at least two different kinds. I'll pull our driver's side mirror and see which one we need..again..thanks a million and I'll be back to you on it..

BTW, just a general question for you Carl or anyone else who sees this: How long does it generally take for GM Historical in Oshawa to get back to you with your car's history data sheet after you've sent in your fax request? I sent ours in Feb. 1 so it's now over two months. And it says on the sheet to only send the form in ONCE. Can I call their toll-free # to check on where I'm at in the queue?? Thanks for any and all advice..

I think they forgot you by the sound of it. I've never waited more than about 2 weeks.

I would send an email or something to Vintage.

George Zappora is also a member here although I am not sure how often he reads on here.

I'll wait to hear from you on the bracket.

..thanks on both Carl. Yeah, I kinda thought they'd forgotten us. I'll try their toll-free tomorrow and tell them that if they don't get it to me right away I'll just have to cancel the order for the dozen 2010 Camaros I ordered, in every colour available... Which reminds me, I saw one on Carter GM's lot here locally on the w/e in Burgundy..must be a recent colour offering...

laughing.gif   I am guessing that could be a minimal threat compared to some of the ones they've likely had in the last 6 months at GM!!!

Yeah...! BTW, phoned GM Hist. today and they sent out the report 2 weeks (!!) after I ordered it. Never received it. The guys there, George (is that the guy you referred to..?) was very nice. We confirmed the address and he's going to send us another one. Hope that's not another 56 bucks or whatever..! (only kidding..) n/c for another one. So I guess GM's just one more sheet of paper in the hole..!

Carl, I checked and it's the shorter one I need. It's also got a rubber gasket that fits between the bracket and the door itself so I guess I can make one up out of old inner tube or something. Let me know how much you want for it and we can arrange to get it out here. Thank you!

Just also found out that the little opaque rectangular plastic lens for the interior light at the rear of the console fell out yesterday and a lovely young thing stepped on it as she got in the back seat! I doubt if you have one of those little animals in your parts bin, eh? I'll post it and see if anyone has one. It'll most likely be the '64 Parisienne guys that have console cars..

Cheers on this Carl..!

Neil

I just went out to get the two of them out of my tool box and discovered that is an optical illusion! Those two are the same... Will this work for you?

Free for the taking if you can use it. Just PM me your mailing info.

I should have updated this. I sent him a bracket and I think he may already have it on the car.
