LN7 Nut, I am going to be looking for a SBC and 350 tranny or 4speed to put in the car. I already have a rearend.

I haven't decided what I'm doing with the original motor, tranny and diff yet. I turned it over last week, but never got it running. I would prefer to trade it.......... maybe for a set of alum finned valve covers, front seats, drivers door or other interesting trade????????
I ship trailers to Alberta, so getting it there wouldn't be a problem.

I would just prefer to trade for something rather then sell.

Well it's been a while since I've been on here.
Bought what I thought was a 327. Turns out it's a 1970 350. Got the motor totally degreased and painted. Put a new edelbrock carb and intake, MSD dual point distributor and wires. New timing chain, gears, fuel pump and water pump. Lots of chrome goodies on it. Looks pretty good.
Found a 4sp B&W tranny from a TA and a 10 bolt rearend out of a 76 Buick.
Hammered out new floors from a sheet of 18ga. I've got half of them welded in and should get the drivers side done before Fri.
I cut down the inner fender mounts that are mounted to the firewall to allow for the V8.
Next job is cutting the front suspension and notching the rear frame for the air bags.

Things are starting to roll....Yippy!!

I traded the old motor and tranny for a case of beer.

Regarding my avatar, yummy!!

Hope these pics work. Had a hell of a time to get them on here.

I haven't welded the final floor yet as I have been in bed with the flue for 5 days.

1 pic shows the motor ready for its's new home.

1 pic shows the 1976 Buick Skylark rearend blasted and primed.

1 pic shows the air bags and the mounts that I will weld up.

1 pic shows the 4 speed B&W tranny.

1 pic shows the body braces removed to allow for the V-8.

When I weld the rest of the floor in then I will cut the driveshaft tunnel and raise it 4" to allow for the dropped rearend.

I also scored a visor and skirts for el-cheapo!!

Well the floor is all finished and painted. I raised the dive shaft tunnel 4" to allow for the air suspension.
I cut the trunk floor out Sat. Will be bending up some steel this week for that.
The rear bumper filler panel was all bent up so I hammered it out last night.
Got the V-8 motor mounts installed from Chassis Engineering, did some body work on the firewall and got it painted.

Things are coming along slowly but surely.

Way more rust on this car then I was expecting but I'll get most of the major cancer out.

Looking for a Hurst 4-speed shifter and arms if anybody has one for a 1978 T-10.

Dennis

Well got the frame out. The rear notch is all installed. Cut the front spring pockets to allow for the air bags. Blasted and painted the front inside fenders, and rad cradle. Next is to put the 4-link in, blast and paint the frame.

Been a while....
When I got the painted frame back I decided to change the frontend out.
I ordered a Fatman IFS with air bags in Jan.
I just got it yesterday from Border Services.
Just keep digging a bigger money pit!!
