Well body is on the frame, need to cut the floors out by the link bars. Then it will sit right down on the frame. Hurt my thumb in the process. Think I will name her Christine!!
Thanks.. Made some rear door panels the other day from a new 66 chevelle vinyl top I've had laying around for 30+ years. It's not perfect but it works. Worked on the C-notch cover and placement of the air tank. Got the new Trim Parts carpet and Pontiac embroidered floor mats the other day as well.
Well, starting to try and get stuff together. The Motor and back part of the car is all wired. Straightened the rear bumper and tail pan the best I could and re-assembled. Just short a backup lens, 2 bumper bolts, and mount the license plate light. Everything you cannot see has been blasted and undercoated underneath, for protection.
It's been a battle at times to keep the interest up, almost packed it in a few times!
I wanted it to look as authentic as possible to the way I found it, but keeping it safe, profesional, reliable and fun to drive.
I hope to complete it for under $ 14,000.
Then...?? I have a line on a real nice solid 1960 Pontiac Ventura hardtop.
But my heart says 33 Ford...
Car looks awesome. How much was the front end from Fatman to get here? I'm sitting on the fence with what to do with mine. I've got a Camaro subframe that I was originally going to use but the mustang II looks so much better. I'm just trying not to blow the bank on this one.
Can't exactly remember how much, but thinking it was just under $ 3000 delivered to US border services.
The exchange rate was much better then.
That was with rear sway bar, front discs, and front air bags.
