RE: Hi there, New Guy

Well I put a Painless wiring harness in a long time ago.
I have been blowing the horn fuse in it every time I put the dash lights on.
I have spent around 4 days trying to figure it out.
So I tracked the clock wire back, It was supposed to be the clock bulb wire I hooked up.
As I already knew the clock had a short in it.
I did it 3 times only to figure out I hooked the wrong wire up.

Happy....but very pissed at myself for being an idiot!!!

Welcome. I have been around for a bit - long enough to find out that there is a bunch of real good guys and all kinds of help , knowledge, BUT NO bent noses over what you are doing, long as your saving a Pontiac. Your plans sure sound good and there is no dust settling on your work! Enjoy the build.

Well, got the beast fired up on Sat.

Everything seems to work good, needs a little choke adjustment and timing.
Pretty happy camper at this moment.

just need to put the windshield in, and take the car in for brakes and exhaust.

Then call her a day and drive it!!

Sorry, been awhile.
Was trying to get all the bugs wrapped up.
Put new glass in, wipers working, turn signals working, windshield washer working etc.
Had a bitch of a time getting my clutch to work properly.

So the car is away getting exhaust and safety done right now.

Shouldn't be long till she's driving!
