I replaced the front springs on my car
after 45 yrs they were weak.

instead of 6cyl ones.
does anyone know how far from pavement to top of wheel well ??
also there seems to be no give when i push down on the front end
thanks

Do you have everything installed on the front of the car, i.e. all the weight it will have when finished?

If not, don't panic yet.

Also, do you have the part number for the springs you bought?

Depending on how much you drive the car, it could take a year before you see the actual ride height of the car with the new springs.
I changed springs in 2007 and in 2009, I drove the car on the Hot Rod Power Tour, 1700 miles with two people & luggage, up and down the hills and back roads of Kentucky & Tennesee.  I'm pretty sure after that trip the front of the car settled about an inch.
