They are!!!   because  they were "special Built for "moon shiners" to haul booze..

You had to get a permit to have GM build the car ...  You hauled booze in them during the week, and then Race them on Sundays! 

My 2 door POST has a recessed trunk and 2 - 45 gallon drums mounted, with a electric pump activated by the cruise control

 

I have complete photo history from day 1   BUT since you had to get a permit, to have car built...  I swore not to show pictures  (Privacy laws )    

Car is on standbye with Federal Governemt to supply booze to Liberal party fund raisers...  very rare cars...    The post at  the rear side window and the frame around the window is to supply support for the ______ proof glass....
