i dont think that 396 is factory, i have a 65 396 425 hp corvette roadster, and its one of the 2200 vettes and there was 200 z16 chevelles and that was the first run of 396 cars sold to the public,

Looks good. Could be factory as the 396 was available in 65, but this does not look factory with that floor shift setup. I like this car.

Can't disagree with that BUT since it is what it is why do people try and make it smething it isn't. Car needs stock wheel covers and column shift put back, fix tailpipe exits then it will be a killer sleeper.  Just what I would do, still like though.
