I thought I would post a thread for parts/cars going west or east across Canada. I have a shtack a parts for big Jon coming from the Jim on the coast and we might as well get something going here. Rick and I have a big box in Ontario yet too i think that needs to come West?? Add your stuff on here and if C1 is coming for a wedding maybe we can stick him in something with a steering wheel and a trailer and he can take back his favorite 66 GP ?
i am heading to the east coast this summer for the atlantic nationals. i also live pretty close to the 401 for a drop off point. i will be driving a vintage half ton with a cap so hauling stuff is doable just remember my wife's crap has priority.
If someone got my box of unobtanium to Winnipeg, I could probably be convinced to haul a trailer load of stuff to Winnipeg and pick up my box. It is currently in Odessa, ON.

I'm losing track of which run's taking place but dont want to lose out!!! Again I have the small vintage snowmachine in Calgary needing a ride home to Ontario..
There's a lad I hooked up w/ here in ON who needs a couple motorcycles taken to Calgary so if there's room going that way and he's still in need, he's a straight up fella and ready to spring $ too!.
Also depending on the timeline and where it needs to land, I'm still willing to make the run to pick up 67Rag396's box of unobtanium in Odessa ON..

When I get a break from work (maybe June 1) , I'd be willing to make the trip from Calgary to Winnipeg and then back to Calgary with truck and enclosed trailer for this parts run. Keep posting guys....we'll make it work out somehow!

Let's try and get serious. I will be paying for a car to move from Winnipeg to Calgary. I will be paying to move a large box from Odessa, ON to Calgary. Ghost Post has a snow machine to move from Calgary to Peterboro.
I have a semi-retired buddy who will consider making the round trip (Calgary to Peterboro) if we come up with enough money to cover expenses. He would use my 20 foot open car trailer.
I'm thinking we need about $3,000. to make it work for my buddy.
Ghost Post and I figure we're in for about half. There would be room for a car Calgary to Peterboro
A car from Peterboro to Winnipeg.
Parts and pieces both ways.

There doesn't seem to be any interest in getting one of our nice western free rust cars down to Ontario.
So there is a choice of trailers, and there is room both ways for parts. We only need another $1,500. unless there is another convertible quarter to add to the back haul.

Wow got this thing happening I think ! Beaumontswanted helped alot picked up the sled for ghostpost, and jons parts brought to my place and just happened to pick up some old cars including a 54 pontiac for the crusher thanks bud !, then I picked up some antique sled engine, loaded all the above in my trailer set up for my son-in-laws dad to make the big run with the TURD his motorhome thru the states back up to Ontario to dump off all this stuff, pick up my panels at Jon's THANKS huge to Rick, Jack, Andy,Pete,Carl and whoever else was helping me on this man this site is amazing. and then move his son and daughter in law back to Calgary. TOdd this would never have happened without the site and the friends and all that come along is another big bonus !!
