Definitely a conversation piece.... I'll start with a "what were they thinking?" and a "what's the point of buckets and console when the shifter is in the column?"

Nice car and very unique! I would have thought it impossible to order a car this way.

Yep!!! Back then you could "order" what you wanted & this "combo" wasn't that "rare" Ive' seen a 63 Impale 327 /300 Hp this way & a 66 Poncho Parisanne rag top 327 Buckets & no conole 3spd on the "tree" the 396 is a bit unusual w/3spd.?????

That 69 is so cool, love it. Not sure how long that little three speed would last under hard use.

I was going to call the fellow  but not on Sunday or Monday (holiday)

The ad suggests, driving it for a sample of the excitement!  lol

How many have driven a big block with no power steering and no power brakes?

If you haven't, then the car may present excitement that you don't like...

The story about the impala seems lame..need more description ... e.g. it has SS emblems Is it a SS?

btw...  did the console and guage option give you the Tach? and std trans would not be HD?

I have seen that car somewhere and can't put my finger in it  I remember reading about the block off plate

Survey

Would you change it to a 4 speed?  (even a 3 speed on the floor?)

As and enthusiast you will know that the Chevrolet Impala was a full-size automobile built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors introduced for the 1958 model year. It derives its name from the southern African antelope, Chevrolet's most expensive passenger model through 1965 had become the best-selling automobile in the US., competing against the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Plymouth Fury when full-size models dominated the market. The Impala was distinguished for many years by its symmetrical triple taillights, and in 1966 remained above the Bel Air and Biscayne.
This car is in impeccable condition and the pictures do not do it justice. This car truly has to be seen to appreciate its condition and driven to experience the excitement. Truly a show winning car. Priced at $21,900 (plus h.s.t.) Call A.J.L. Vehicle Remarketing Ltd. 416-254-1231
