rearend interchange question please help

I have a 1952 canadian pontiac witha powerglide. The rearend is shot in it. I have access to a rearend from a 1952 chevy, but it is a 3 speed manual. My question is other that the gear ratio being different will it fit directly in my car? Is the torque tube the same length or can it be changed, if so how is that done. Will it bolt to the trans the same?

I believe the 52 Canadian Pontiac and 52 Chevy are the same

If you have access to it  get some photos  and let us see     Try HAMB website

the bell bolt patern is not the same, but the lenght is all the same. You will see a difference in the ratio. A chevy rear end is the same thing as the canadian Pontiac. Take your time and look for a Powerglide rear end. A 4.11 ratio is not very funny on a highway.

If you want to talk about frame only, they look alike but they are not the same. For the rear end , it's the same as chevy, the ratio change with the trans used.
