Wow real proof but why are they all different?. Glad we figured this one out before I did my 66 SD 4spd. Doesn't explain my 66 4 door car but looks like good info.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

I found a filler panel in my collection yesterday and yes it was silver on top. Weird that the 4 door didn't have it but this filler isn't attached to a car. Definitely silver.

Old thread but the filler panel on my 66SD is original paint and argent silver on top.
