It looks like a nice clean car, but I'm not really a fan of the custom paint or interior. If it's the same car, I remember it as being a medium metallic blue (looked like "jewel blue poly" from the paint chips at autocolorlibrary.com) with a white roof..."
You say it was blue. That's interesting. I wonder if it was the same car I used to see when I worked in Halifax in the early 80s. I spotted it a few times on the Dartmouth side of the MacDonald bridge. You don't forget those cars - they are so uncommon.
I love green generally but if I had this car it would be the shade of light metallic green that GM used in 61-63 (the color that was on my old 62 Parisenne). And i'd put a stock green Impala interior in it. But that's just me ...

Quite possibly... I only remember 1 '61 Impala 2dr sedan around here, and by the early '80s the ones that had seen typical use were all rotted and long gone to the crusher. Then again I'm always surprised when I see cars just show up out of the blue that were local cars from day 1 but were stuffed away in garages most of their lives, so unless you "know" a car it's never 100%.
Pretty sure it must be this car, though, as I would see the blue one around every now and then... it disappeared and this one showed up shortly after.
original paint, some surface rust on the front driver's side, Southern car, non original black interior, added 350 + 4 speed + disc brakes + air suspension...says has original wheels and car drives great and can easily be put back to original, needs condensor + compressor for AC which he has...but he has no picture of the car...
I don't want to waste anybody's time BUT () if someone feels like going to Stouffville Ontario (North of TO) to take pictures and let me know what this car is all about, I'll gladly pay for Timmies + gas...
Back to Kijiji... a plus tard

There is a car show coming up in Stouffville on September 18th. Maybe someone is going to that show and could check out the car. Is the owner taking it to the show?

I THINK IT SOLD TOO LOW THE FIRST TIME.
I agree if you want something and its a fair price too it should not matter what the last guy paid for it. Welcome to Capitolism
