Look here at what we have for sale a 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne 2dr Post, Equipied with a big block chevy that I believe is a true 427 435hp. Im not a real chevy guy so I will list the block casting numbers and date code so you can do your own research to establish its correctness. Casting # 3963512 Date Code # L 1 **8 this engine sport GM aluminum heads with winters snowflake also orig GM alum. Intake the engine is backed by a Muncie 4 speed, hook to a 12 posi. The car has a very rust free body with what looks like a right half quarter being replaced, chrome is decent, interior is pretty decent overall the car is a very clean driver, runs great with no issues found. Rat Boy say "yes of course", did anybody really think this was anything but a 6 cylinder strippo converted to a big block 4 speed beast. Praise the surviving 6 cyl. cheapo post cars, otherwise we'd have no big block beastly posts.

The engine was cast on December 1st 1969 and stamped on the front pad 2 days later,December 3rd 1969 , when placed in the car . Sales for the 70s were started in September 1969 which explains the 1969 date cast into the block . So it is a 1970 454-345 HP with TURBO 400 trans.
I lucked out buying a 454 form a guy like that , he sold it to me as a 454, because that was what the casting # told us it was. turned out to have been internally a 427 !!!
